Not Enough Animations (1.20.5 – 1.19.4) Mod for Real Movements in Minecraft

Not Enough Animations 1.20.5 – 1.19.4 (NEA) is a mod for Minecraft that has a primary function to add more animations to the game. In addition to that, it includes new animations for things like player movement, block placement, and tool usage. However, this mod is designed to make the game feel more immersive and realistic by adding more visual cues to the player’s actions.

Below we are adding a few examples of the types of animations that the mod adds include:

First of all, new player movement animations, such as walking, running, jumping, and swimming.
Secondly, new block placement and breaking animations, so that blocks animate as they are placed or destroyed.
Thirdly, new tool usage animations, so that tools animate as they are used to mine or break blocks.
Additionally, entity animations, such as new idle, walk, and attack animations for mobs, and new animations for other entities like items, arrows, and boats.
Therefore, by adding these new animations, the mod enhances the game’s visual feedback, making it more engaging for the player.
Lastly, NEA also adds new options for players to customize the animation, such as changing the speed, disabling certain animations, or adding new ones

Fabric Installation Guide for Not Enough Animations:

Fabric is a Mod Loader as well as a toolchain (Java library) for installing and creating Minecraft mods for Release Versions and Snapshots. It’s an alternative to Forge API, which is still a stepping stone for enhancing gameplay through community-created mods. Fabric API is newer and lightweight compared to Forge, but it’s quickly updated with newer Minecraft versions and its mode base/quantity is increasing gradually. Fabric is also lightweight however it is still lacking behind in terms of compatibility while simultaneously running a different set of mods.

For player:

You can install Mods using Fabric Loader & API which comes with the automatic installer which creates profiles in Minecraft Launcher. Once you run the game once using newly created Launcher profile, then open %appdata%/.Minecraft and drop your favorite mod (.jar extension file) into the mods directory.

For developers:

If you are familiar with Java, there are extensive mod development guides and tools available to simplify the process. For example; Fabric Loom, Yarn, tiny-remapper, and Engima (for deobfuscation of Java bytecode). You can head over to the official wiki for more details.

Note: Fabric and Forge API mods cannot run together and will probably crash your Minecraft. Keep a copy of your save games before you experiment with the mods.

How to Install Not Enough Animations Mod for Minecraft Forge

  • Installing your favorite modifications requires a bit of focus along with correct tools.
  • Generally, there are two main APIs that are helping players to include mods they want to play.
  • They are called Minecraft Forge API and Minecraft Fabric API. We are providing the Forge API guide here.
  • Initially, you have to download Minecraft Forge API which is essential for Forge mods.
  • Later, it is mandatory to create a Forge profile by running the Forge installer or .jar file.
  • After following the above-mentioned steps, you are advised to download the mod you want to play.
  • Moreover, put the downloaded .jar file into the mods folder which can be located at this address “C:/Users/YOUR USER/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/mods”.
  • However, sometimes the mod file does not appear on the Forge profile.
  • To fix that issue you just need to restart Minecraft and check it again.
  • Normally, 95% of the time restarting the game works and the modification file start showing.
  • There you go, have an amazing time playing your favorite game with the mod you like. Keep coming here.
