Aperture 1.20.5 – 1.19.4 is a camera mode that allows you to create professional-looking gameplay videos with minimal effort. It lets you take cinematic shots in Minecraft using free camera movements. In addition to that If you are a video maker or an editor, then you already know how important is camera angles, depth of field, the field of view. Moreover, this mod allows you animate the camera from a fixed location to circular or linear motion. It also removes the unnecessary UI stuff and takes full-frame shots. Pretty neat.

The uniqueness of Aperture Mod can be calculated by these features:

  • Camera profiles can be saved and loaded from the config folder or the server (if the mod is installed).
  • Provides different camera behavior blocks (which are known as camera fixtures):
  • Idle fixture – does nothing, just locks the camera
  • Path fixture – animates the camera through a set of points using one of the three interpolations: linear, cubic or Hermite
  • Look fixture – locks the camera at a given position, and follows given entity (using entity selector) by looking at it
  • Follow fixture – locks the camera relative to the given entity (kind of like GoPro but fixed)
  • Circular fixture – circulate around the center point and facing at it
